ROLE: The Warehouse staff is responsible for managing and maintaining the stock of goods in a warehouse. They ensure accurate inventory levels, organize materials, and support the efficient movement and storage of products.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receiving and Inspecting Goods

 Unloading deliveries and verifying the quantity and quality of items received.

 Checking for damages or discrepancies in the shipment.

 Signing delivery documents and logging inventory received.

  1. Stock Management

 Organizing and arranging stock in designated storage areas.

 Labeling and tagging products for easy identification.

 Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or surpluses.

 Conducting regular inventory counts (stock taking) and reconciling with records.

 Coordinating with the Operations Supervisor and Branch Manager for

replenishment of stocks.

  1. Issuing and Dispatching Stock

 Picking and packing items for dispatch or internal use.

 Preparing goods for shipment, including packaging and labeling.

 Updating inventory systems when items are issued or moved.

  1. Warehouse Organization and Cleanliness

 Keeping the storage area clean, safe, and well-organized.

 Ensuring items are stored safely and according to guidelines (e.g., by expiry date,

fragility, or weight).

  1. Use of Tools and Equipment

 Using stock management software or barcode scanners.

  1. Compliance and Safety

 Following company procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of goods.

 Adhering to workplace safety regulations and wearing protective gear when

necessary.
