Job Summary

The General Accounting Staff is responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties including recording transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of financial data in compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions such as journal entries, receipts, and disbursements.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other accounting data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Perform other related accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Preferably with 1–2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
