Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

Perform 2D echocardiography, Doppler, and color flow studies as requested by physicians.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain test purposes and processes.
Operate, maintain, and ensure proper calibration of echocardiogram equipment.
Capture and record accurate cardiac images for physician interpretation.
Assist the cardiologist during procedures, ensuring quality data acquisition.
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate diagnostic records.
Observe infection control and safety protocols during all procedures.
Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly to the supervisor or biomedical team.
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the 2D echo room and equipment at all times.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities of the department.

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS in Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or related allied medical course.
With training and certification in 2D Echocardiography.
Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures.
Knowledgeable in cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic imaging standards.
With good communication and patient-handling skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision.
