Position: Full-Time Faculty for Religion Subject Teacher

Minimum Qualifications:

● A Bachelor's Degree in Education with a major or specialization in Religious Education, Theology, or Values Education, or

● A Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or Philosophy with at least 18 units of professional education subjects.

● LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) passer.

● At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in arts-related subjects, preferably within the Creative Industries.

● Teaching experience at the senior high school or college level is preferred.

● At least affiliated with Catholic church ministry or organization (e.g, lector, choir, catechist, youth minister)

● Of good moral character and active Catholic faith practice.

Job Summary: Full-Time Faculty A full-time teacher of Religion has the responsibility of guiding students not only in understanding the teachings of the faith, but also in nurturing their spiritual growth and personal values. Beyond delivering lessons, the teacher is called to serve as a witness of faith, modeling Christian living through words and actions, and fostering a classroom environment rooted in respect, compassion, and integrity. This role extends to forming the conscience of learners, helping them connect faith with life, and encouraging active participation in the Church and community. In the context of Benilde Senior High, a Religion teacher is also expected to embrace and embody the mission of being a Lasallian formator accompanying students with zeal for service, faith, and communion, and inspiring them to live out the Lasallian core values in their daily lives.
