Barista-Cashier

A barista-cashier is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and processing payments while also preparing and serving coffee and other beverages. This role combines customer service with food and beverage preparation, requiring skills in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, using espresso machines, maintaining a clean workspace, and restocking supplies.

A minimum of 3-6 months of barista experience is required for this position.

Candidates must be high school graduates to be considered for this role.

Bilingual proficiency is required to effectively communicate with diverse customers.

Core responsibilities below are but not limited to:

• Customer service:

Greet customers warmly, answer questions about the menu, take orders accurately, and handle customer inquiries or complaints.
- Cash handling:

Operate the POS system to accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments, providing correct change.
- Beverage preparation:

Prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, following recipes and standards.
- Food preparation:

Prepare and serve food items like pastries, sandwiches, or baked goods.
- Cleaning and maintenance:

Keep the workspace, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Stocking and inventory:

Restock supplies such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups, and food items as needed.
