Cashier

JOB OBJECTIVE

• To ensures the safekeep and timely deposit of store sales and other funds of the store sales.
• Responsible for the fast and accurate processing of customer transactions and assist the Store Supervisor in admin work

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Achieves sales and profitability target of the store

1. Assists the Store Supervisors in the development of plans and programs for the store to

achieve targeted annual sales

1. Adhere to Cost Control Standards, Inventory Systems and other Standard Operating

Procedures

1. Achieve individual Sales Target

B. Exceed Customer Expectation

1. Implements the standard procedure on Customer Service and Customer Relations when

transacting or dealing with customers

1. Ensures that customers' purchases are entered into the system correctly Replenishes and

maintains display to provide customers with sufficient choices of merchandise

1. Ensures that customers receive the right quantity and quality of merchandise, and official

transaction records

1. Ensures prompt and quick attention to customer's needs

2. Ensures that only authentic and registered peso bills and coins are transacted by and with

customer

1. Ensure that only authentic and confirmed Credit Cards are used by the customer

C. Assist the Store Supervisor in Asset Administration

1. Maintains housekeeping standards within the area

2. Responsible for the preventive maintenance of all assigned equipment's/tools

3. Checks transmittal / outslips for approving signatures, and has complete attachments

before processing

1. Maintains the store's records and reports. Assist the Store Supervisor in making some

reports such as:

a. Monthly Sales Report for the Mall Admin

b. Store Repair Request

c. other reports as required by Management

1. Responsible for the timely exchange of the following information to I.T / Operations

D. Cash Management

1. Ensures proper safekeeping of cash sales before deposit, and that no variances are

audited

1. Ensures the safekeep and proper use of store's petty cash fund and other funds

2. Ensures proper turn-over of cash sales and official documents/records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php14, Php14,645.83 per month
