Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare ingredients (cutting, chopping, marinating, portioning) according to daily requirements.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
- Follow recipes, presentation standards, and portion guidelines.
- Ensure that dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Kitchen Operations
- Set up and stock the line with necessary supplies before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Quality & Safety Standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness throughout the shift.
- Perform regular temperature checks on food and equipment.
- Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards at all times.
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate clearly with the Chef and other kitchen staff during service.
- Support teammates as needed, especially during peak hours.
- Report any issues with ingredients, equipment, or safety immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role (preferred).
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
