About the role
Are you an experienced Banquet Leadmen looking to take the next step in your career? Kares International Commodities and Manpower Services' is seeking a talented individual to join our team in our Pasay City Metro Manila location. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage banquet operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup/teardown crews
- Ensure the timely and efficient setup and breakdown of banquet events
- Liaise with clients and event organisers to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional service
- Monitor and maintain inventory of banquet equipment and supplies
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during banquet events
- Provide training and mentorship to the banquet team to develop their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and beverage service
What we're looking for
- Must finish a 2-year degree or 4-year degree
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients
- Extensive knowledge of banquet operations, including setup, service, and teardown procedures
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control
- Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
