Main Tasks : Roles & ResponsibilityPlanning

• Manage the IE Department to fully accommodate production requirements and plan improvements to reduce the production cost through SMV reduction on all production operations.
• Review the allocated work based on Production Loading Plan.
• Join in Pre-Production Meeting and note down standard requirement (Materials, Machine Needle, gauge etc.) and Quality check point seen on the Pre-Production Sample.
• Review machine availability based on 3 months production loading and prepare requests for any machine or attachments shortages.

Monitoring

• Review line performance and identify bottle necks and find solutions to fix any problem that can contribute inefficiencies in the production floor.
• Ensure implementation of approved process improvements
• Review Incentive schemes and incentive calculations
• Review GSD Analysis and Thread Consumption calculation
• Review actual operations and work out with technical team and production leaders for any identified improvements.
• Monitor Change Over Analysis and identify process that caused any delays and formulate solutions.
• Ensure production SOPs are religiously followed and propose improvements whenever applicable.

Training and Development

• Responsible in identifying training needs of the IE Department and Production Department.
• Develop Training Course for IEs, production heads, supervisors and line leaders.
