About the role

As our Senior Accountant / Team Leader Business Services & Tax, you'll work closely with the Manager and broader team to:

• Manage workflow and review technical outputs across compliance and advisory
• Ensure 100% accuracy, timeliness, and top-quality client deliverables
• Prepare and review tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships)
• Oversee BAS, GST, PAYG, and corporate tax compliance
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
• Deliver strategic tax and financial advice
• Liaise with clients over email (answering basic queries, acquiring documents, etc.)
• Lead and mentor junior and intermediate staff
• Contribute to process improvement and help shape how the business grows
• Be hands-on and lead by example, with a sharp eye for detail and a collaborative mindset
• Bring a long-term career mindset, with interest in managing an offshore team in the future

What we're looking for

Must-Haves:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 5+ years in Australian public practice
• At least 2 years in a leadership, workflow, or review capacity
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, AASB standards, and compliance
• Confident using Xero, Excel, MYOB, QuickBooks, and tax tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with FYI Docs or similar DMS
• A natural mentor with a warm, approachable style
• Strong process improvement mindset
• Comfortable working across a range of industries and client sizes
• A long-term mindset and excitement for future leadership opportunities

Salary:

• Starting salary of PHP 120,000/month depending on your experience and the skills you bring to the table.
