Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Programmer who will play a critical role in leading software development initiatives that enhance our retail systems, digital platforms, and backend technologies. The ideal candidate will bring robust technical expertise, leadership in system architecture, and a strong sense of ownership to support Timberland's digital transformation journey in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications and system integrations for retail and e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Marketing, E-commerce, Finance, Retail Operations) to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and optimize current systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and uphold best practices in software development and version control.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver clean, maintainable code.
• Work with APIs, databases, ERP systems, and POS integrations.
• Stay updated on technology trends to propose innovative solutions aligned with Timberland's growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: VB6, VB.Net, HTML,PHP, JavaScript, ColdFusion.
• Strong understanding of database systems (MySQL and MS SQL Server).
• Familiarity with retail or e-commerce systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management, and POS integration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations (e.g., DPA, GDPR).
