warehouse cleaner

Job Description:

A Warehouse Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a warehouse environment. This role ensures that storage areas, equipment, and floors are kept clean and safe for staff and inventory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning:
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelves, and equipment.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Sanitization:
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and restrooms.
• Refill soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Clean forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required.
• Report any damage or maintenance needs.
• Waste Management:
• Sort and remove recyclable materials.
• Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Safety:
• Follow health and safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure walkways and emergency exits are free from debris.
• Inventory Support:
• Assist in maintaining a clean environment for inventory control and storage.
• Help with basic organization tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
• Experience:
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage.
• Experience in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus.
• Skills:
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (may vary depending on warehouse).
• Other Requirements:
• WILLING TO BE ASSIGNED AT SHAWARMA SHACK WAREHOUSE (SAN BARTOLOME NOVALICHES Q.C)
• Amenable to work from Monday-Saturday
• Can start ASAP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php675.00 per day
