JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a full-time Frontend Web Developer to join our dev team to build websites via WordPress and assist in ongoing website maintenance requests from existing clients. You will be handling website support requests via our ticket system and emails.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing website maintenance for existing clients such as:
  • Creating, modifying, and/or deleting pages via WordPress Content Management System
  • Adding third-party scripts
  • Writing custom code to provide the requested functionality
  • Building websites using WordPress
  • Work with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Work as a member of the larger web team to conceive and drive initiatives that improve both individual and team efficiency
  • Identify website and CMS bugs and areas of website and CMS in need of improvement.
  • Assist with other project and team logistics and operational needs
  • Perform quality assurance review of content before the website is pushed live
  • Work simultaneously on multiple support ticket requests of varying complexity and length

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proven knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with the Git version control system and code review processes
  • Knowledgeable with WordPress Content Management System
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly aware and detail-oriented
  • A plus - knowledgeable with WordPress development (Themes and Plugins)
