Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team for a cutting-edge Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and components associated with wind turbine generators. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of renewable energy infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for wind turbine generators, including power electronics, control systems, and grid integration.
  • Conduct electrical load calculations, fault analysis, and system simulations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and operation phases.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings using CAD and simulation tools.
  • Support procurement and vendor evaluation for electrical components.
  • Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and quality control processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 3- 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy or wind power projects.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Strong understanding of power systems, control systems, and grid interconnection.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or equivalent.
  • Training or certification in renewable energy systems or wind turbine technology.
