Using industry best practices for project management, the Operations Manager (Project Manager – Trade Relations) plans, directs, and coordinates projects and programs for the Trade Relations department to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

The position is responsible for ensuring project goals and requirements are met within schedule, budget & scope, and are successfully completed. This is a cross-functional role responsible for working across business units to continuously improve services related to Trade Relations and pharmacy rebate management. ResponsibilitiesInitiation: Define project objectives, scope, and charter.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct technical analysis, and resolve problems. Planning/Development: Create detailed project plans with deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation. Work with stakeholders to identify staffing needs and assign responsibilities.

Production/Execution: Conduct regular status meetings, track progress, and mitigate risks. Resolve issues collaboratively, provide technical guidance, and ensure task completion. Monitoring/Controls: Track project status and address constraints (scope, cost, timeline, resources, and risks).

Communicate updates via reports and ensure all documentation is complete and approved throughout the project lifecycle. Closing: Ensure successful project delivery, including documentation of lessons learned. Coordinate with departments for project handover.

Other Responsibilities: Promote strategic thinking, foster relationships with stakeholders, and ensure clear communication with technical and business teams. RequirementsBachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)5 years experience with Project Management using industry best practices for project methodology is a MUST.Required experience in PBM, pharmaceutical or managed HEALTH CARE industry. Prior experience in Trade Relations and Pharmacy Rebate Programs a plus.

Must have experience in all phases of project management lifecycle. Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and MS Project. Must be proficient with Project Scheduling Software and MS Visio.

PMP certification is highly desired. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Other Skills and Abilities: Must have good negotiation skills, well-developed facilitation and collaboration skills.
