Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QA Analyst (Project Based) to join our Clients' design and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing mobile and web apps through manual, exploratory, and automated QA processes.

Work Set Up:


• Employment Type: Full-time, Contractual


• Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, [6:00 am to 3:00 pm]


• Work Setup: Onsite / Remote


• Location: Makati / Remote


• Client Industry: Advertising Agency

Key Responsibilities:


• Mobile App Testing

o Plan and execute comprehensive QA for a React Native app across iOS and Android devices and OS versions.

o Build test plans covering real-world scenarios, edge cases, and critical flows (BLE pairing, reconnection, backgrounding, offline states, error handling, push notifications).

o Validate pixel-perfect UI, functional logic, and user experience through manual, exploratory, and regression testing.

o Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

o Retest and verify fixes across sprints and releases.


• Web & Cross-Platform Testing

o Create and execute test cases for responsive web apps and websites across browsers and devices.

o Ensure functional, visual, and accessibility consistency across all touchpoints.


• Test Automation

o Recommend and implement lightweight automated testing strategies for critical user flows across mobile and web.

o Support release testing for changes, hotfixes, and dependency updates.


• Quality Processes & Standards

o Establish QA best practices, tools, and workflows that scale.

o Contribute to internal documentation and help build sustainable testing practices.

o Share tools, techniques, and ideas that improve how we test and ship products.

o Where helpful, contribute small fixes or enhancements in code under senior review.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in any field.


• 5 years of experience in a related role.


• 3+ years' experience testing iOS and Android applications across multiple devices and OS versions.


• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Playwright, Jest, Appium, Detox, or similar.


• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, , React), with the ability to review codebases and assist in diagnosing minor issues.


• Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Asana, Figma, and Bitbucket.


• Strong attention to design detail, with a sharp eye for pixels, typography, and animations.


• Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
