The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate booking of trucks with third-party providers, scheduling deliveries, and managing picklist printing and clustering. Additionally, it involves monitoring the performance of third-party truckers, coordinating with Sales and Trucker Coordinators for delivery issues, and planning the pull-out of back orders (BO) using the Transport Planning Tool. Maintaining data accuracy and supporting smooth logistics operations are key to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Scheduling:
- Print and monitor picklists for pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate booking and scheduling for each picklist with the correct delivery day.
- Maintain 100% delivery performance by tracking deliveries from pick-up to final delivery.
- Manage and monitor Floating AR reconciliation.
- Schedule and coordinate BO pull-outs with BO patrol.
Execution:
- Print picklists, daily pick-up receipts, and authority to pull out of BO.
- Verify details such as delivery day, quantity, CBM, PO reference, invoice reference, and delivery address.
- Ensure full utilization and maintenance of the Transport Planning Tool.
Monitoring & Checking:
- Compare picklists against SAP delivery schedules.
- Ensure accuracy between daily pick-up receipts, box count reports, and waybills.
- Verify printed invoices and PO details with daily pick-up receipts.
- Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) metrics.
Other Tasks:
- Respond to internal and external delivery-related queries.
- Coordinate with Sales and third-party providers to resolve delivery concerns.
- Perform inventory and invoicing tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree graduate
- With at least 2 years' experience in transport planning and management
- Experienced in using SAP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong email communication skills
- Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Capable of making informed decisions and critical thinking
