  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine the specifications of the welds.
  • Set up welding equipment and perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, ARC, Stick etc.) as required by the project.
  • Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure structural quality and adherence to specifications and safety standards.
  • Operate power and hand tools to grind, cut, or clean metal parts.
  • Work closely with other site personnel (fabricators, fitters, engineers) to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to site safety rules.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Assist with rigging, positioning, and aligning metal parts and components as needed.
  • Report issues or defects to the supervisor and contribute to continuous improvement.
