As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will lead credit evaluations by analyzing financial data, assessing creditworthiness, and underwriting commercial equipment finance agreements. Your role ensures sound financial decisions and maintains the integrity of transactions through expert judgment and strategic collaboration with internal stakeholders.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years in commercial equipment finance or lease underwriting
• Deep understanding of heavy equipment/collateral-based financing structures
• Strong financial analysis skills: balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, projections
• Skilled in credit underwriting (EBITDA, cash flow coverage, current ratio, leverage, etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Proven relationship-building and business judgment
• BA/BS in Business or related field (MBA a plus)
• Fluent in English with excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel, Teams, Microsoft Office; knowledge of AI and ChatGPT is a plus
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently

Your Daily Tasks

• Conduct credit reviews and analyze net income, debt service coverage, bank transactions, financial history, earnings, depreciation, and EBITDA
• Prepare Credit Approval Memorandums for commercial equipment finance agreements and leases
• Provide creditworthiness analysis and recommend optimal transaction structures
• Complete security perfection searches and perform Suits, Liens, and Judgments checks to confirm collateral security
• Research and validate equipment value using online resources
• Pull and analyze personal credit reports and Paynet data
• Collaborate with Sales Coordinators and senior credit leadership
• Ensure complete and accurate credit approval documentation before funding
• Mentor and train junior credit analysts to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation
• Embrace change and improve underwriting quality
