About the role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Cashier to join the team at Prince Retail Group of Companies' store in Minglanilla Cebu. This full-time position will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and maintaining efficient cash management operations at our retail location.
What you'll be doing
- Accurately processing customer transactions and handling cash, cheques, and electronic payments
- Maintaining a balanced cash drawer and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering queries and assisting with merchandise selection
- Monitoring inventory levels and alerting management to any stock discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Adhering to company policies and procedures to uphold security and loss prevention measures
- Assisting with other store duties as required, such as replenishing shelves and supporting the team
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a cashier or front-line retail role
- Strong numerical skills and accuracy with cash handling
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask efficiently
- A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management
