Responsibilities

  • Preparation of tax returns for individual, company, trust and partnership (primarily, Class A clients)
  • Identify financial statements discrepancy
  • Computation of CGT and depreciation schedule
  • Prepare and complete workpapers
  • Prepare the Intercompany Loan Reconciliations, calculate div7a interest and minimum div7a loan repayments.
  • Prepare the Hire Purchase worksheet to calculate the interest expense and breakdown of current and non-current loan balances.
  • Save client notes and client documents to relevant client folders
  • Meet deadlines for tax compliance
  • Initiate improvement ideas, as necessary
  • Other ad-hoc tasks that may be required by immediate supervisor
  • Review initial / peer review of junior tax accountants work
Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of working experience of AU tax
  • Xero accounting tool experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and technical accounting skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Team oriented
  • Exceptional English communication and comprehension skills
  • Willing to be trained and learn new things
  • Has a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Amenable to work onsite once a month at Eastwood, Quezon City
