Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, within 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM UK time, (4 hours per day/20 hours per week)

The Company is a creative design brand producing beautifully illustrated and imaginative designs across various products, events, and campaigns. We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer / Artworker with a keen eye for detail and strong technical skills to support our creative production process.

Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing artwork for print and digital production, creating marketing materials, and maintaining organized design assets. You will work closely with the founder to bring creative ideas to life — from print-ready files to digital layouts for the web and social media.

Key Responsibilities
Artworking & Production
  • Prepare artwork and designs for print production, ensuring correct specifications such as color modes, bleed, and resolution.
  • Retouch, resize, and adapt designs for various print and digital formats.
  • Create large-scale artwork layouts for exhibitions, shows, or events.
  • Design and prepare sticker sheet layouts with correct bleed and alignment.
Graphic Design
  • Design banners and graphics for the website based on provided artwork and creative direction.
  • Create social media content including static posts, animated graphics, and short reels (via Photoshop).
  • Develop and maintain a digital catalogue layout showcasing new designs, updated regularly.
  • Design marketing materials such as leaflets, brochures, and promotional assets.
  • Support in creating cohesive brand packs and brand assets for internal and external use.
File & Asset Management
  • Maintain an organized system for design files, artwork archives, and brand assets.
  • Ensure consistent naming conventions and proper version control of design files.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Artworker (portfolio required).
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (must have own licensed access).
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, file formats, and color management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle large files and layouts efficiently.
  • Strong sense of visual design, layout, and typography.
  • Ability to follow creative direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.

    Technical Requirements
  • Own computer with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop installed.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to download/upload large design files.

    Preferred Experience
  • Experience in creating catalogs, leaflets, and marketing materials.
  • Basic animation or motion graphics knowledge for simple social media posts (via Photoshop or similar tools).
  • Prior experience in eCommerce or creative retail industries is a plus.
