Warehouse Boy

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Boy to support our warehouse operations. A key responsibility will be the efficient and safe transport of goods using a kartilya (hand truck). The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Transport materials within the warehouse using a kartilya, ensuring safe and timely delivery to designated areas.

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling items according to company standards.

• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Can read and write

• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.

• Ability to safely operate a kartilya (hand truck) and other warehouse equipment.

• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
