About the Role

We are looking for an Architect with 3–5 years of experience to support the design and development of a 4-unit townhouse project and subdivision model homes. The role involves handling site-specific challenges, especially flood-resilient planning and land development coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural concepts and complete plans for 4-unit townhouses on a 12m x 15m (180 sqm) lot.
• Design flood-resilient structures, considering a 3-meter cut of land and required site grading.
• Create working drawings, technical specifications, and design revisions.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and local offices for compliance and documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and align designs with subdivision and land development requirements.
• Provide material recommendations, project estimates, and design optimizations.
• Ensure all designs follow standards for safety, function, and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Architect with 3–5 years experience in residential design or townhouse development.
• Strong background in flood-resilient planning and land development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other architectural tools.
• Knowledgeable in subdivision standards, building codes, and permit processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant projects is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on provincial subdivision housing or model homes.
• Understanding of cost-efficient residential design.
