Project Engineer

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications (such as PMP) may be preferred.
• PRC License
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or related roles.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging project demands.
• Office-based with potential for remote work, depending on the nature of the project.
• Occasional travel may be required for site visits or client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timeline, and resource allocation.
• Define project deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish and manage budgets and timelines to ensure project goals are achieved.

Team Management and Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to ensure effective collaboration.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills and project needs.
• Provide regular feedback and support to ensure the team stays on track.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to key stakeholders.
• Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals, progress, and issues.

Risk and Issue Management

• Proactively identify risks and challenges that may impact project success.
• Take corrective actions and resolve issues as they arise.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Resource and Budget Management

• Oversee the allocation of resources (personnel, materials, finances) to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure the project remains within budget.
• Track project costs and perform cost analysis as necessary.

Quality Control

• Monitor and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project reviews and audits to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
• Implement corrective actions if quality standards are not being met.

Project Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of the project process, milestones, and outcomes.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress, risks, and achievements to senior management.

Project Closing

• Ensure all project objectives have been met before closing the project.
• Finalize project documentation and conduct a post-project evaluation to capture lessons learned.
• Ensure the handover of project deliverables to the relevant parties.
