Role Summary

The Technical Consultant – Java/Temenos will help clients improve their operations and business outcomes by delivering application enhancements and solutions. This role requires strong Java development skills while also being open to learning and contributing to Temenos technologies and enterprise banking solutions.

You will translate business requirements into valuable application features, support application stability, and work closely with clients and teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize enterprise applications using Java as well as other technologies, including Temenos technologies and solutions.
• Produces technical documentation based on the code produced during development and customization
• Collaborates with the technical team lead and application test lead during the development lifecycle to clarify design requirements and approaches, and to ensure the quality of the deliverable
• Refactors existing codes as part of maintenance and enhancements
• Adds/Builds new test cases on existing Test Suites
• Provides technical support directly to clients or members of support team
• Deploys and create new pipelines in Jenkins
• Studies basic SonarQube and SCM integration

Required Qualifications & Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of solid Java/J2EE experience.
• Strong SQL skills: able to construct complex queries and develop stored procedures.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE and Java web frameworks (Spring, Struts, etc.).
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and basic UI/UX concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development cycles.
• Basic UML knowledge; understanding of design and integration patterns.
• Willingness to learn and work with Temenos technologies and enterprise banking
  solutions
  and adapt to multi-technology environments.
• Strong problem-solving, consulting mindset, and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience in Fintech is a plus
