About the Role
The Loan Processor plays a key role in preparing, processing, and releasing loans granted by management, as well as monitoring loan statuses and ensuring accurate posting to individual ledgers. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, this role involves guiding applicants through the loan process, packaging loan products, and performing initial eligibility screenings.
You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure loan applications are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for the bank's Pension Loan product.
- Serve as liaison between borrowers and the bank.
- Provide applicants with timely updates on their loan status.
- Collect, verify, and follow up on required documentation.
- Maintain and update loan records, databases, and internal reports.
- Prepare promissory notes, disclosures, and other loan documents for release.
- Maintain credit files of borrowers (with proper authorization).
- Prepare and send reminders or collection letters to past-due borrowers.
- Post loan payments, balance subsidiary ledgers daily, and track problem accounts.
- Maintain a tracker of all active borrowers and prepare loan maturity records.
- Prepare loan release tickets and compute loan payment applications (subject to accountant verification).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Banking or finance experience preferred, especially in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at explaining financial concepts in simple, clear terms.
- Eager to learn and grow professionally.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15, Php16,000.00 per month
