Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Budgeting
  • Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost optimization strategies
  • Support the executive team in defining mid-to-long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
  • Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support operational decision-making
  • Cost Control & Profitability Management
  • Analyze departmental cost structures and drive initiatives to improve profitability
  • Monitor payroll costs, infrastructure spending, and vendor-related expenses
  • Compliance & Taxation
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international tax laws and financial regulations
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and legal teams on transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and cross-border payments
  • Team Management & Process Optimization
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, including accounting, payroll, and billing functions
  • Streamline financial processes and reporting systems to improve efficiency and transparency
  • Risk Management & Audit
  • Implement internal controls and risk management policies
  • Manage internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
  • Contract & Commercial Support
  • Review major client contracts and payment terms
  • Provide financial evaluation for new business opportunities and large-scale projects

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Certifications:
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of financial management experience, preferably in a mid-to-large scale BPO, SSC, or outsourcing company
  • Experience in managing multi-country operations and financial compliance is a strong advantage
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Tools & Systems:
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
  • Language:
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus if reporting to a China-based HQ
