A leading worldwide provider of payment technology services that delivers innovative solutions driven by customer needs globally is opening a tender for:SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERYou will be part of an international development team that works on automation frameworks for POS terminal testing and Host2Host/Client2Host accreditations. As a Senior Java developer team member, you have to contribute to the design and development of applications.

We develop innovative tools that are at the crossroads of the SW and HW worlds. As an SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER you will:

• Work on highly available systems
• Build products in agile methodology with high focus on quality, security, reliability,availability and timeliness
• Collaborate within a Scrum team
• Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, from design, toimplementation, unit testing, integration, release and support
• Review and provide feedback on technical designs, estimates, prioritization and otherdevelopment issues
• Develop code to our coding standards and best practices
• Drive stories to completion including automated testing, documentation and deployment
• Raise issues/concerns, take ownership and propose solutions
• Increase product and business knowledge
• Be aware of how your software is behaving in production
• Work with team members in different locations
• Identify areas of automation and continuous improvement that can help streamline andbuild an efficient delivery engineRequirements:
• 5-8+ years' experience in a similar software development role
• Strong Java design and development experience within a web services architecture
• Outstanding analytical skills, self-motivated, high performing and goal oriented
• High levels of software engineering literacy and communication skills
• Experience designing and building high availability systems in themicroservice architectural style
• Exquisite knowledge of Docker, Spring Boot/Spring framework, Junit, Maven
• Good knowledge of Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Linux
• Experience with monitoring tools like ElasticSearch, Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana
• Previous experience in a Scrum team, taking a team approach to design, developmentand testing
• A deep understanding of the inner workings of the JVM, its threading model and how itmanages memory etc.
• Hybrid work (1-2 days per week from Office)We'll be even more excited to meet you if you have:
