Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
  2. Cook and grill menu items to order, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  3. Monitor cooking temperatures, follow food safety guidelines, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times.
  4. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and restocking ingredients as needed to ensure freshness and availability.
  5. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and chefs to coordinate meal service and expedite orders during peak hours.
  6. Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances, reporting any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Uphold a positive and cooperative work environment, communicating effectively with team members and supporting each other as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for food.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
