Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team, focusing on product-based formatting, 3D visualization, and internal design adaptations. This role is primarily centered around placing client-provided logos and information on tent templates, creating realistic 3D mock-ups for customer presentations, and updating various internal visual materials. This is a design execution role with room for growth and increasing complexity over time based on the designer's potential and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Design Support:

  • Format and prepare visual designs for custom tents based on input from the sales team and clients, using a standard design template.
  • Place logos, branding elements, and other customer-specified details accurately on tents and similar products.
  • Communicate closely and clearly with both sales and clients during the design refinement process to achieve a final approved layout.
  • Generate and update 3D mock-ups of the product using semi-automated tools (pre-configured templates that auto-place artwork with high accuracy).
  • Open 3D files (e.g., STEP files), adjust/tweak views, and create screenshots to be used as base images for further work in Illustrator (adding details, coloring, and other refinements).
  • Ensure final designs meet brand and quality standards before submission for production.
  • Maintain version control and accurate documentation of design revisions and approvals.

Internal Visual Assets & Marketing Support:

  • Create artwork for customers and prepare internal documents such as brochures, manuals, cards, information sheets, and other visual materials.
  • Format and update internal materials such as product labels, box labels, brochures, and similar documents.
  • Adapt supplied designs for different languages, updated texts, or new photos.
  • Ensure formatting and layout consistency across all versions and languages.
  • Support internal teams with minor design adjustments while ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Work on internal design and visual improvements during the off-season, focusing on preparing materials, improving workflows, and enhancing design templates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • A diploma or certificate in Graphic Design with strong portfolio and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 1–3 years of solid professional experience in a graphic design or production design role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong layout and formatting skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to work with predefined templates and adjust existing materials quickly and efficiently.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; experience in a role with client/sales interaction is a plus.
  • Comfortable working on iterative designs and handling feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Organized and reliable with strong time management skills, especially during high-volume seasons.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D visualization/mock-up tools is advantageous (training provided if necessary).
  • Familiarity with Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D, and the ability to work with 3D files (Autocad outputs, STEP files) to adjust views and create usable renders.
  • Initial exposure to CAD software is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with packaging design, print file preparation, or multi-language formatting is a plus.
  • Interest in growing into more challenging or creative design tasks based on performance and company needs.
