Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in either Natural/Adabas to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications that support critical business functions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of mainframe environments, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team setting.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in mainframe development using either:
• Natural and Adabas
• Strong knowledge of mainframe tools, utilities, and debugging techniques (e.g., Abend-AID, File-AID, XPEDITER).
• Familiarity with version control and change management tools (e.g., Endevor, Changeman).
• Understanding of database concepts, file structures, and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Exposure to mainframe modernization or migration projects.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
• Familiarity with integration between mainframe and distributed systems.
