Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join a dynamic CPA firm where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple small business clients. You'll work directly with QuickBooks Online to perform essential data entry and categorization tasks that form the foundation of client financial reporting. Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and transaction categorization using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Set up and configure payroll systems for new clients using detailed information provided by the CPA team
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks across multiple small business client accounts simultaneously
  • Maintain precise financial records through proper transaction categorization and data organization
  • Work collaboratively with the CPA team who will review and oversee your completed work
  • Handle basic bookkeeping functions while contributing to the firm's high standards of client service
  • Utilize limited QBO access efficiently to complete assigned tasks and maintain data security


Requirements
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) for both bookkeeping and payroll functions
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping principles and transaction categorization methods
  • Demonstrated ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
  • Experience in supporting accounting firms with bookkeeping for small businesses
  • Familiarity with payroll setup processes and related compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently under professional supervision
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with the CPA team and following detailed instructions
