NATURE / SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • The DLP & Data Protection Analyst mitigates risks associated with data loss, exfiltration, and policy violations, complementing Bitdefender's limited DLP capability. This role focuses on data visibility, access monitoring, and compliance with SOC2 confidentiality and privacy criteria.
  • Monitor and investigate data transfer logs, email attachments, and file uploads.
  • Identify potential data leakage or unauthorized sharing of sensitive information
  • Collaborate with ISO to enforce SOC2 data protection controls.
  • Create and maintain DLP rules using available systems (M365 DLP, Firewall, SIEM).
  • Conduct regular audits of shared folders, permissions, and USB device usage.
  • Prepare monthly DLP compliance reports and assist with user awareness
  • Coordinate with HR and Legal for insider threat investigations.

  • A.5.13 Data Classification / SOC2 Confidentiality

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
  • Must have 2-3 yrs experience as SOC Compliance
  • Familiarity with DLP tools, M365 Security Center, or CASB platforms
  • Knowledge of SOC2 confidentiality and privacy requirements
  • Ok to work on site in Ortigas Pasig and Araneta Cubao
  • Ok to work in ant shift schedule
