We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.

Position Overview: The Housekeeping Intern will assist our housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn about the operations and standards of housekeeping in a professional setting. The intern will work closely with experienced staff and gain practical skills that are essential for a successful career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Preparation: Assist in preparing and cleaning guest rooms according to Terra Hotel's standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
• Public Area Maintenance: Help maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Inventory Management: Support in managing housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all materials are stocked and organized.
• Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing their needs and responding to special requests.
• Safety and Sanitation: Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Education: Current enrollment in a college program in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
