QC Microbiologist

· The microbiologist prepares culture media and diluents used for microbiological testing.

· Collects samples for microbiological testing following aseptic sampling procedure.

· Conducts required microbial limits analysis for in-process and finished products.

· Performs water quality monitoring, and environmental monitoring.

· Prepares a report of analyses performed and alert notices to be issued. Ensures that logs are maintained and done religiously.

· Propagates and safe keep reference organisms and maintains the complete profile/history of each organism.

· Conducts periodic checking of QC refrigerators, autoclaves, and incubators to ensure   that materials/samples kept at specific temperatures are well-maintained, and sterilization of materials are performed using calibrated machines.

Qualifications:

· Microbiologist should be a graduate of BS Microbiology, a license chemist or chemical  technician or any science course

· At least 2 years work experience in a regulated pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics  Manufacturing  field  is  required
