Your Role in the Spotlight

Be part of our client's team as a Senior Accountant, where you'll manage month-end closes, prepare insightful financial reports, support audits and tax compliance, assist with budgets and forecasts, and ensure seamless operations. You'll also step in for leadership when needed, gaining global exposure in real estate finance.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
• Proficient in reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries with minimal supervision
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis
• Experienced in assisting with statutory accounts preparation and external audits
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to support senior staff in meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to understand and explain financial accounts
• Preferred experience with Xero
• 3-5 years of Senior Accounting experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support month-end close processes, including:
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepayments and accruals
• Journal entries
• Support preparation of monthly P&L variance analysis and commentary
• Support preparation of monthly board reports
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for the Finance Team
• Assist preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements
• Support GST, FBT, and Income Tax preparation and filing, where applicable
• Assist preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Act as cover for the Group Finance Manager when required, supporting continuity of reporting and finance operations
