Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accounting Staff – Compensation and Benefits to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting payroll processing, employee benefit administration, government reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records related to compensation and employee-related costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review employee payroll, including salary computation, overtime, deductions, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and labor regulations.

  • Administer statutory benefits and contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) and ensure timely remittance and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee compensation and benefits records.

  • Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports, payslips, and reconciliations.

  • Coordinate with HR for new hires, resignations, and changes affecting payroll.

  • Prepare annual and periodic reports for audit and regulatory requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

  • Assist in managing employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in payroll and benefit administration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or compensation and benefits administration.

  • Familiarity with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and government contributions (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR).

  • Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems/software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a mid-to-large company or shared services environment.

  • Knowledge of HRIS or ERP systems.

  • Certification or training in payroll administration or labor law compliance is an advantage.
