Job Description:

The Rigger is responsible for preparing, securing, and guiding loads during lifting or moving operations. Working closely with crane operators and site supervisors, the role ensures that all rigging activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and pulleys for lifting operations.
• Signal and guide crane operators during load movement and placement.
• Inspect rigging tools and equipment for wear or damage before use.
• Assist in calculating load weights and determining proper rigging techniques.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all site safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid NC II (Rigger) certification.
• Experience in construction or industrial rigging operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of lifting safety procedures and hand signals.
• Physically fit and attentive to safety and teamwork.
