Job Description:
This role provides first-level technical support by resolving hardware, software, and network issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining IT systems and equipment. Responsibilities include asset management, documentation, and ensuring compliance with IT policies. Candidates should have an IT-related degree, strong troubleshooting, and networking skills, and be willing to work onsite or travel as needed.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level technical support to employees through onsite visits, phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access configuration, and permissions management.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and deployment activities.
Systems & Hardware Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related software applications.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and monitor system and network performance to ensure optimal uptime.
- Support IT infrastructure improvements and upgrades as needed.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory, software licenses, warranties, and related documentation.
- Handle procurement and replacement of IT equipment.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system configuration records.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, data security standards, and audit requirements.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules or travel to support users in other company locations as required.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in special IT projects, system upgrades, or company-wide technology initiatives.
- Provide basic user training or orientation to promote proper and secure use of company systems and devices
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of operating systems and ability to install/configure hardware & software.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WiFi, routers/switches, remote access) and competence in troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Ability to maintain IT assets/inventory and handle desktops/laptops/printers etc.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to work onsite, or travel to branch offices as needed.
