- With advanced knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications, and software to be able to organize, maintain, and support all internal company devices, accounts, operating systems, network equipment (and other equipment to support operations. (Biometrics, Power Supplies, etc.)
- Provide support including diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical problems, and resolution of hardware or software issues.
- Experience setting up, and working with Remote Monitoring and Management tools to proactively monitor, maintain, and manage client systems, network status, patch compliance, and server backups.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT asset inventory to maintain asset lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain core internal services, including Active Directory, Domain Controller, and File Servers.
- Assist in regular security assessments, system audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
- Manage the full user lifecycle process as part of onboarding, offboarding, new account setup, profile configuration, training, and password/access management.
- Conduct IT-related training and education for both internal staff and external client users to promote best practices and self-sufficiency.
- Actively participate in both internal and client-facing IT projects. This includes requirements gathering, analysis, system integration testing, and user acceptance tests.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service suppliers to manage procurement, service contracts, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Act as a technical resource for external clients, providing remote and on-site (including monthly client site visits) diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of IT-related issues.
- Provide expert guidance and support to users on system, network, hardware, and software faults.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an IT Support or System Administration role, with demonstrative experience managing both internal infrastructure and external client environments as MSP.
- Problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills for systems, networks, and applications.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation, asset management, and following defined IT procedures.
- Excellent communication written and verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users both internal and external clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks across multiple client environments and internal needs.
- Willingness and ability to conduct monthly on-site client visits and provide remote support as needed.
- Proficiency in managing, deploying, and troubleshooting Windows, Mac OS, and Linux environments and its applications.
- Solid understanding of network concepts with proven experience configuring, monitoring, and maintaining common network equipment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, patch management, and security audits.
- Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of administering and supporting users in common cloud platforms like Azure. Google or Amazon.
