MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

(Toledo, Cebu - based)

Job Summary:

Conduct laboratory test, procedures and analysis to provide data for diagnosis, treatment and disease prevention with the guidance of Chief Medical Technologist. Analyzes body fluids like blood, urine etc. to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components.

Responsibilities:

• Checking all laboratory results before submission, mobile or walk in patients.
• Evaluates and recommends reagents, supplies and equipment.
• Implements remedial actions necessary to maintain satisfactory operation and performance in the laboratory.
• Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment.
• Must coordinate to Chief Medical Technologist if such big problem arise which cannot be solved immediately.
• Examine, process and analyzes specimen for drug testing;
• Ensure the security of a specimen at the collection site (Drug Test);
• Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing lab tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy and Dug Testing.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a 4-year college or university with major course in Medical Technology.
• Should be a License or Registered Medical Technologist.
• Knows how to do Phlebotomy which is the Basic Part.
• Willing to learn some techniques especially in processing and read the specimen like blood, urine and stool.
• Can follow strict compliance and Turn-Around Time Results instructed by the Chief Medical Technologist.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
