Network Engineer

Summary

Dragon Royale is seeking for a Network Engineer on a 30-day engagement to validate

network design, assess vendor-delivered configurations, and ensure the network

infrastructure meets operational and security standards. The role combines design

validation, configuration support, and documentation of the as-built network setup.

Key Deliverables

 Validate and review network design and configurations from vendors to ensure

alignment with approved architecture, performance goals, and security

standards.

 Assist in configuring and optimizing network components—including VLANs,

managed switches, and firewalls—for stability, segmentation, and efficiency.

 Evaluate and recommend best practices for network performance, redundancy,

and security across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.

 Support documentation development, including accurate as-built network

diagrams, configuration records, and validation reports.

 Provide technical findings and recommendations to IT Management for

operational readiness, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or

related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

 Experience:

o Minimum 5 years in network engineering or infrastructure validation.

o Proven expertise in VLAN design, switch/firewall configuration, and

network performance optimization.

o Experience reviewing vendor implementations and producing technical

documentation.

Technical Proficiency:

o Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols

(OSPF/BGP), and network security.

o Familiarity with Fortinet, Juniper, H3C, or equivalent enterprise-grade

platforms.

o Proficiency in creation of technical document creation.

 Preferred Certifications:

CCNA / CCNP, JNCIA, Fortinet NSE4+, or CompTIA Network+.

Contract Details

 Duration: 30 Days (with possible extension)

 Schedule: Full-time during project period (Hybrid)

 Start Date: October 15, 2025 or ASAP

 Compensation: Around Php 1,500 – Php 2,000 per day
