Company Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized C++ Programmer to join our team.

As the world's premier vendor of forward-looking, date-related data, our clients include some of the most prestigious financial institutions worldwide.

We are a globally minded company with offices in New York, London, Delhi, and Manila.

Our software includes a core function library written in C++, available both as an Excel Automation Add-in and as a COM object library accessible from VBA.

We also maintain several standalone C++ applications that operate independently of Excel.

This role focuses primarily on C++ development — enhancing, maintaining, and expanding the core components that power our global data systems.

Familiarity with COM, VBA, and SQL is an advantage, as these are used to integrate our tools and support internal automation processes.

Programming Duties & Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and expand our C++ core library and related systems to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain standalone C++ applications and COM components integrated with Excel and VBA.
  • Write efficient, high-quality, and well-documented C++ code.
  • Test, debug, and fix issues to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Collaborate with team members to design creative and effective solutions.
  • Work with users to understand their needs and develop tools that meet those requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C++ (required).
  • Understanding of COM interfaces and how C++ integrates with Excel or VBA.
  • Knowledge of VBA and SQL is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering software projects in C++ environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and debugging ability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to stay up to date with new technologies and continuously improve.
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently.
  • Innovative mindset and proactive approach to challenges.

Place of Work

In the office at Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2, three days per week.

Hours of Work

Your normal hours of work will be aligned with the New York time zone.
