Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair on machines, equipment, and tools to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Replace worn-out parts, lubricate machinery, and calibrate equipment.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment functionality and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Assist with machine installations and upgrades as required.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while working in a factory or industrial setting.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in machine maintenance or a similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as necessary.
