Content & Distribution Specialist

The Role You'll own the distribution engine: transforming newsletters and long-form videos into standout posts, threads, carousels, shorts, and emails across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube clips/shorts), and other channels. AI tools are welcome as accelerants, never as copy-paste crutches—you bring judgment, taste, and originality. Light admin (≈10–20%) as needed
What you'll do ● Repurpose & write: Turn newsletters and long-form ideas into high-performing LinkedIn posts, IG carousels/reels captions, X threads, email snippets, and YT shorts titles/descriptions ● Clip & package video: Identify hooks, pull highlights, and produce platform-native short clips (basic editing OK; expert polish not required ● Own the content calendar: Plan weekly cadence per platform; coordinate drafts, approvals, and publishing ● Platform fluency: Craft native formats (hooks, CTAs, carousels, reels, community posts) tailored to each channel's dynamics ● Taste & iteration: Monitor performance, run A/B tests on hooks/angles/visuals, and iterate based on data ● Systems & workflow: Design lightweight, repeatable workflows using modern tools (docs, boards, AI assistants, clipping/transcription tools ● Audience & community: Engage thoughtfully in comments/DMs; surface insights and content opportunities ● Light admin (as needed): Basic coordination, file organization, and simple operational tasks—no inbox/calendar management as a primary duty
Must-have strengths Problem solver & rapid learner. You figure things out quickly without hand-holding. Excellent writer/editor. Concise, compelling copy; strong hooks; can translate technical health concepts into engaging content. Platform-native instincts. You know what "good" looks like on LinkedIn/IG/YouTube—and how to get there. Judicious use of AI. Comfortable using AI to speed research/drafting/clipping while ensuring originality and voice. Ownership mindset. You propose ideas, ship consistently, and measure results. Health/long-termism interest. Curiosity about longevity, evidence-based health, and science-driven content.
Nice to have Basic video editing (CapCut, Descript, Premiere, etc.) and simple design skills (Canva/Figma). Newsletter experience (formatting, snippets, subject lines, CTAs). Analytics familiarity (native platform insights, UTM basics). SEO/YouTube titling & thumbnail briefing. Tools you might touch Google Workspace/Docs Notion or Trello Canva, Descript/Cap Cut Platform schedulers (Meta/YouTube/LinkedIn) And modern AI assistants for drafting/research/transcription. Success looks like A reliable weekly publishing cadence across channels. Rising consumption metrics (watch time, saves, shares, CTR) and subscriber growth. Clear, repeatable systems that make repurposing faster every week. Distinctive voice and packaging that stands out from generic AI-sounding content.
