Position Summary

The Corporate Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations for a group of corporate-owned or franchised restaurants. The strong leadership, collaboration, and culinary skills to ensure the highest level of food quality, consistency, and profitability across all locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the executive Chef in menu development, recipe standardization, and culinary training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food quality standards across all restaurants.
  • Provide on going training, coaching, and support to restaurant chefs and kitchen teams.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to manager food costs, inventory levels, and vendor relationships.
  • Assists the planning and execution of special events, catering, and off -site activities.
  • Help to develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and partners.
  • Participate in ongoing research and development of the new Position Title: Corporate Sous Chef
  • Culinary trends and techniques.

Competencies

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and develop kitchen teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and innovation
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
  • Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed.

Education

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
