Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate / General Accountant is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate cost allocation across departments, projects, and products. The role involves analyzing expenditures, assigning costs appropriately, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in making cost-efficient decisions. This position also ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to: Senior Accountant

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or related fields;
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience;
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cost allocation for direct and indirect expenses across business units, cost centers, and projects;
• Maintain and monitor the cost allocation framework in accordance with company policies and accounting standards;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
• Support general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial closing activities;
• Support budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate cost allocation data.
