Accounting & Compliance Liaison (Permits & Licenses)

Key Responsibilities

  • Permits & Licenses Liaison: Process, renew, and monitor store/commissary permits (Mayor's/Business Permit, Barangay Clearance, Sanitary Permit, Fire Safety Inspection Certificate, Occupancy Permit, BIR registrations/updates) with LGUs, BFP, and BIR; coordinate with mall admin where applicable.
  • Compliance Calendar Owner: Maintain a master tracker of expiry dates, requirements, fees, and receipts; flag risks in advance and schedule submissions/inspections.
  • Documentation & Filing: Build a complete permits registry and digital archive (ORs, certificates, assessment forms, inspection reports) aligned with audit requirements.
  • Inter-dept Coordination: Gather branch and commissary requirements (leases, DTI/SEC docs, layout/as-built, OSH/sanitation evidence) and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
  • Finance Support: Prepare payment requests, reconcile assessment vs. actual fees, and submit liquidation packages; assist in audit and compliance walkthroughs.
  • Issue Resolution: Work with LGUs/mall admin/landlords to clear variances, penalties, or notices; prepare status updates and corrective action trackers.
  • Systems Hygiene: Keep ERP/POS data and entity details (TIN, addresses, trade names) consistent with official registrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years experience in accounting support with hands-on permits/compliance processing (LGU/BIR/mall admin).
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP and POS platforms is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with fieldwork across NCR and nearby LGUs for submissions, follow-ups, and inspections.
