Position: Junior Aesthetician

Location: Luminosa Aesthetic and Wellness Center - Vista Mall, Santa Rosa, Calabarzon, Philippines

Job Overview:

The Junior Aesthetician is responsible for providing a range of professional aesthetic treatments, primarily focusing on facial, slimming, and laser services. This role involves direct client interaction, including treatment administration. The Junior Aesthetician must adhere to the clinic's protocols, maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Facial Treatments:

  • Perform a variety of facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks, and massage, tailored to individual skin types and concerns.

  • Analyze client skin conditions, recommend appropriate treatments and home-care regimens.

  • Slimming Treatments:

  • Administer non-invasive body contouring and slimming treatments using various technologies (e.g., radio frequency, ultrasound lipo cavitation, etc) as trained and supervised.

  • Conduct client consultations to understand body contouring goals, and recommend suitable treatment plans.
  • Ensure client comfort and safety during slimming procedures.

  • Laser Treatments:

  • Perform laser hair removal treatments following established safety guidelines and protocols, operating laser equipment competently and safely.

  • Administer laser skin rejuvenation treatments (e.g., for uneven skin tone, pigmentation, etc) as trained and supervised of senior aesthetician.
  • Maintain accurate records of laser settings and client responses.
  • Adhere strictly to laser safety protocols, including the use of protective eyewear for both the client and practitioner.

  • Client Care and Communication:

  • Greet clients warmly and professionally.

  • Explain treatments, procedures, and expected outcomes clearly and concisely.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for homecare products and routines.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Address client questions and concerns effectively and escalate issues to senior aestheticians when necessary.

  • Clinic Operations and Maintenance:

  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after each client, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation according to clinic standards and regulations.

  • Maintain and sterilize equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to clinic policies and procedures regarding client records, payments, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Junior Aesthetician or recent graduate with relevant training in facials, slimming treatments, and laser services.
  • Knowledge of different skin types, conditions, and appropriate treatments.
  • Familiarity with various aesthetic equipment and technologies, particularly laser devices and slimming machines.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
